OVERVIEW OF EXPERIENCES
As far as I am concerned, my experiences as a new mother in this area have caused my darling baby and me some disappointments. Several unsuccessful tests between different models of sleeping bags which allowed me to identify areas for improvement. In other words, a great opportunity to sort out:
- The one equipped with two snaps (one on each shoulder) that our dear little demon, hilariously, undoes with a sharp kick. Which cost us at least 2 round trips to reinstall it and a 3rd to make sure our little one didn't fall asleep with his sleeping bag around his ankles!
- The one whose belly zipper doesn't zip all the way, or even worse, tickles our baby's chin... who ends up with a chin worthy of a boxer short when he gets out of the ring, all irritated and damaged (the mixture of rubbing + drooling is not ideal…).
- The one that slips on like a washcloth. Very practical but portends cold nights when our toddler's chest is not bundled up.
- And then one that adapts to all ages. With a simple press button system, the length can be adjusted. The sleeping bag accompanies him until he is 3 years old in terms of length, with, at the start, a large sausage at his feet. Length: Ok. But then what about the adjustment at the bust level?
In the end, a nice list of progress points which allowed me to work on the model in the making.
A METICULOUSLY STUDIED SLEEPING SACK
In this regard, it must be said that at Milinane we have worked hard to imagine a sleeping bag format that guarantees baby's comfort while being practical to use. And yes, no more contorting baby to get him installed there. The “made in” Milinane sleeping bag opens FULLY and makes it easier to place baby. The zipper closes the lower part up to the legs like a cocoon. Then, to cover baby well, a tie is tied at the level of his bust. The “wrap-around” closure snugly wraps our little one. To top it off, a cotton muslin material available in winter and summer versions. The sleeping bag fleece is padded with comfortable wadding which provides healthy and enveloping warmth. The sleeping bag the light weight, in double cotton gauze, tempers and prevents baby from suffering from extreme temperature variations. The material is breathable and guarantees the well-being of our little child.
A model available in 2 sizes to accompany your baby until he is 2 years old. Indeed, it is a pivotal age after which some mothers opt for another sleeping solution such as the small intermediate-sized duvet (100 x 140cm). The sleeping bag in 2 formats allows baby time to grow without having to change the size (too) regularly.

QUESTION OF RHETORIC: “GIGOTEUSE” OR “TURBULETTE”?
At the same time, it was work that allowed me to address this thorny question: is it called a sleeping bag or a sleeping bag? According to my little research it seems that there is no difference. It's usually just a matter of simple language. To shed more light on the question, below are 2 definitions of the very famous MKI**:
[Sleeping bag: essential childcare accessory to guarantee a peaceful night's sleep for little ones. Suitable for small leg of lamb, freshly out of the oven. Ideal for keeping it at temperature!]
[Turbulette: childcare accessory offering a comfortable and secure space to confine unruly small children]
Well, I'll stop my strange inspirations right away... I'm completely lost. On this point, the fact remains that we vote for the “GIGOTEUSE” formula which seems prettier to the ear and more common!
With these beautiful words, I wish you a wonderful week.
