the concept
Our core business is creation. A French art that we cultivate and from which we draw inspiration. It is our love of the product that today gives birth to new accessories that you wear every day.
The Milinane adventure began with the creation of stroller cushions, play mats, deckchair covers and even swaddling blankets. Over time, we wanted to add other accessories essential to parenting life. We then introduced changing bags, toiletry bags, health book covers... all these pretty things which have now become essentials on your birth lists and in your home.

New collections appear every year, without necessarily replacing the old ones, because we still love seeing them at home, and seeing your new ways of combining them with old patterns. Our goal is to create long-lasting collections, which are made to last over time. So we know, fashion changes quickly and trends evolve just as quickly... But to tell you the truth, we sometimes have trouble letting go of certain prints. And apparently you too... Sometimes there is such enthusiasm for a pattern or a product that it quickly runs out of stock. This is simply explained by the fact that we produce in reasonable quantities and that it is not machines that are behind all this, but rather passionate human beings, who do exceptional work.
This reasoned production also allows us to prevent overstocking and avoid waste.
Where does the name Milinane come from?
“Before being a brand, Milinane is a Doudou. My daughter Iris’s cuddly toy: a little donkey offered by Emilie, a friend.”

Our values
We have chosen to work hand in hand with our manufacturer, in order to offer fabrics certified by the Oeko-tex label. A label that guarantees that no harmful products have been used in the manufacturing of our products. We are committed to offering you products that are healthy for your babies' skin and healthy for the planet.
We have definitely said goodbye to shipping in plastic packaging. A transition that took place over time to finally use only recyclable packaging. From now on, all your packages are sent in pretty reusable and recyclable cardboard packaging. To further minimize our carbon footprint, all our cardboard packaging comes from a French company.
Because highlighting European know-how was essential. It is in the heart of Portugal that we found this expertise in fabric and mastery of traditions. All manufacturing stages (from weaving to manufacturing) are concentrated in the same region in order to reduce the carbon footprint.
Portugal has unique know-how and strong traditions that we particularly appreciate for the making of our cotton products.
It was obvious for us to choose a material that would be suitable for the sensitive skin of the little ones. We have chosen to favor cotton for these many qualities, but also and above all because it is one of the only textile materials that does not contain any trace of petroleum.
Cotton is a natural fiber with a low allergic potential, which also helps avoid sources of irritation and sensitize their skin.
In addition, being a natural material, cotton has a strong power of breathability and moisture absorption and acts as a natural protection against drying out of babies' skin.

Oeko-Tex certification
The health of our children as well as our environmental impact is a priority for us. This is why all our accessories have the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. This certification guarantees that no harmful chemicals are used during production, i.e. from weaving to tailoring.
A guarantee of quality, the primary objective of this label is to offer accessories that respect the sensitive skin of our babies and are respectful of the environment. Indeed, by refusing the use of harmful chemicals, we protect the marine environment from chemical spills in the oceans and we preserve the health of our children by not imposing textiles containing chemical compounds on them.
GOTS certification
This certification is affixed to all our cotton baby clothes. This label guarantees that the cotton used comes from organic farming. GOTS is the highest textile certification in the clothing world. It offers transparency and complete traceability while respecting strict social and ecological criteria at all stages of production.
This label ensures that our clothing does not contain any traces of pesticides, GMOs, fertilizers or hormones and allows control of water management.

Dyeing and washing are two essential steps in our manufacturing process. All our accessories are softened and printed with a focus on respecting nature and the skin of the little ones.
Nos fournisseurs
Car nous voulons vous proposer le meilleur pour vous et vos kids, nous avons sélectionné des fournisseurs produisant la meilleure qualité possible dans leurs domaines.
Nous faisons principalement fabriquer nos accessoires dans un atelier familial basé au Portugal afin de favoriser une production durable à circuit court et où les conditions de travail sont respectées.
Au delà des frontières, nous collaborons avec un fournisseur chinois certifié BSCI reconnu pour son expertise en matière de casquettes.
Nous finissions par atterrir en Inde, où nos artisans confectionnent minutieusement à la main nos délicats foulards en block print dont seuls eux détiennent le savoir-faire
Notre engagement qualitatif
Parce que pour nous la qualité de nos produits est LE critère essentiel, on ne recule devant rien. Chez nous, pas de chichis, on est généreux en matières.
On double les épaisseurs de canevas de coton pour assurer une résistance sans faille, on ajoute du molleton pour donner cet aspect plus “cocooning” et plus robuste.
Pas de radinerie sur les tailles, avec nos trousses, vous pouvez enfin ranger TOUS les produits de bébé au même endroit.
