Mon bébé malade est confiné dans sa chambre...

My sick baby is confined to his room...

ACCEPT THE MAAAAAL

This morning, my little angel turned into a hot bawling baby. Neither one nor two, I wrap him up in his warm nomadic blanket to run to the doctor. The latter confirms to us that our little cat, having nothing serious, must remain under supervision, warm, at home, in his room. And yes, despite all our efforts and our mania (bordering on obsession) to wash our little hands, to cover ourselves and to keep our distance from any other human form with a runny red nose, the virus will have been stronger. “Okay Doc, but I didn't plan on doing that at all! It is not the good moment ! » (Thoughts that I was careful not to say out loud…). So deep down inside me, it's first a surge of stress mixed with worry so that, finally, things fall into place into natural priorities. “So much for lunch with so-and-so and then I’ll catch up on the weekend if I have to.” Once the situation is accepted then the vision of the problem seems completely different to me.

RELY ON YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE

In desperation, I take out my tool (or first aid) box, and do not immediately give in to panic. I try to remember my own memories. So then, images come back to me of my mother who seemed to come to the rescue instantly and without blinking. Solid as a rock, she intervened obediently and showed unlimited patience as I called to her incessantly from my bed. She made me feel like the Earth had stopped spinning for me. But where did this natural strength come from!? Today, I invite you to have a frank discussion with her on the subject. Ahahahah, you will not be disappointed! The myth may end but you will realize that your source of inspiration is also super human... just like us! Nature is well done, our child's gaze did not detect the exasperation or panic in our mother. It’s our turn to take on this “sweet-and-delicate-super-mom-capable-of-bearing-repetitive-complaints” cover

BECOME A VIRUS ERADICATION STRATEGIST

So once all these feelings have passed, we transform into a real warrior whose objective is to eradicate the virus. We follow the doctor's recommendations to the letter. We don't put off "nose blowing" for 5 minutes, and above all, we work to improve our little one's morale. To do this, and depending on the condition of the little patient, we alternate or compile all of these solutions:
- mother the little cat: we don't skimp on the hugs and kisses.
- garnish his plate with what he prefers (and which is healthy of course!)
- put him in clean, good-smelling pajamas
- make your bed again with ultra soft clean sheets

A harmonious and refined children's room for our little KO warrior...

In short, we constantly surround him with kindness and we help him to go on the right path. Very often, at the end of this escapade, it is we who are the most relieved and happy! It’s also our victory (which we can give ourselves the right to celebrate!)

Reassure me moms, you too go through these states when you experience this situation?
Have a nice week end !
