A SEVILAN INSPIRATION: SPANISH CHILDCARE AT THE SERVICE OF OUR BABIES

My experience as a young mother in Spain allowed me to discover clever childcare objects, unknown until then. It is therefore natural that Milinane made it her trademark.

With a little hindsight, I believe that my project started in Seville. Spain, country where the child is king, temple of childcare. It was there that I became a mother, and it was also there that I became familiar with all the objects dedicated to early childhood.

And what a surprise! I didn't expect to discover so many different and unknown products there. I had never seen a friend or sister-in-law use protective seats for cozy seats or strollers... Except, perhaps, the famous sponge cover, used in case of extreme heat...
It was while wandering the streets of Seville that my eyes were opened to a bunch of clever objects dedicated to the well-being of little ones. Among other things, stroller seats are extremely popular: plain, colorful, classic, chic, with lace and so on, there is something for everyone!

Apart from the desire to have a prettier stroller, I frankly saw no point in it... until a Spanish friend gave me her point of view: "A stroller without a seat is a a bit like a box spring without a mattress and without sheets... I love it! Seen like that, it would be hard to do without it! But what good sense! Would you lie down on a mattress freshly unwrapped from its plastic protection and without sheets, to take a nice nap? Average anyway… and to wash it? Should we take it to the dry cleaners? and we sleep directly on the slats of the box spring!? My God, how convenient it is to load your mattress into the Twingo every 10 days: “I’ll be back, Chouchou, I’m going to the Laundry!” »

Well, I grant you, I'm going a little far in the demonstration but we are close to reality. When you think about it, our little ones spend quite a bit of time in these strollers, covering miles. They spend moments of impromptu naps, games, crying, laughing, snacks (crushed), sometimes overexcited or quite calm. In these cases, the stroller seat seems necessary to me for reasons of comfort and hygiene. It is even more so if it is made from a delicate and easy-to-maintain material.
This Spanish vision has remained firmly anchored in me. It’s obvious that I invite you to discover without delay.

Nice week !
